Appendix 6 to the LGIP establishes a special Interconnection Request pathway for wind plants, allowing a developer to initially submit an Interconnection Request based on a single equivalent generator representing the entire planned wind array, with detailed specifications for each turbine and layout required within six months of executing a Cluster Study Agreement. The provision accommodates the phased engineering process typical of large wind projects, while still requiring the generator's full capacity to be studied from the start of the queue process.
