Advance Construction of Network Upgrades

Definition

An optional mechanism under Sections 12.2.2–12.2.3 of the LGIP allowing an Interconnection Customer to fund the construction of Network Upgrades ahead of the schedule specified in the LGIA in order to protect its In-Service Date. The Transmission Provider must accommodate the advance schedule if the Interconnection Customer agrees to bear all incremental costs and the advancement does not unreasonably interfere with the Transmission Provider's operations or other construction projects.
