1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TransANCHOR (Transmission Advanced Network for Cited, High-Fidelity Order Research), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

TransANCHOR provides AI-assisted daily FERC order digest emails, OASIS transmission alert emails, and research tools for regulatory documents, including FERC orders and OASIS transmission data. The service includes:

• Automated email notifications for new regulatory filings
• AI-generated summaries and analysis
• Search and retrieval of regulatory documents
• Document citation and research tools
• Interactive educational games, simulations, and quizzes

The service is currently in Open Beta, and features may change or be modified without notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Ensuring your contact information remains current

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Reproduce, redistribute, or resell our content without permission
• Use automated systems to scrape or harvest data
• Impersonate others or provide false information

5. AI-Generated Content

Our service uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, analysis, and recommendations. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• Content is provided for informational purposes only
• You should verify critical information independently
• AI output does not constitute professional legal or regulatory advice

6. Intellectual Property

The service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by TransANCHOR and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Government documents and regulatory filings remain in the public domain and subject to their original terms.

7. Fees and Payment

Core access to TransANCHOR is currently offered without charge. If paid plans or add-ons are introduced later:

• Fees will be clearly communicated before any charges
• Payment processing may be handled through a third-party processor (for example Stripe)
• Subscriptions or renewals may be cancelled according to the terms shown at checkout
• Refunds, if any, will be described in the applicable policy at that time

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRANSANCHOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the service
• Any errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Decisions made in reliance on service content

9. Educational and interactive content

Interactive games and simulations. Any game or simulation offered on the service is provided for education and illustration. You acknowledge that:

• Scenarios, text, choices, scoring, and outcomes may be compressed, simplified, or stylized for play.
• Content is not a complete or one-for-one replay of any real proceeding, docket, order, tariff, filing, or timeline, and may combine or adapt themes across sources.
• You must not rely on in-game or in-experience text for compliance, filings, litigation strategy, engineering decisions, or other professional judgments.
• You should verify material facts, obligations, and citations against official primary sources (for example FERC eLibrary and issuer postings).
• These features are not legal, regulatory, financial, engineering, or other professional advice.

Energy Persona quiz and library. TransANCHOR may offer an Energy Persona quiz and a public library of energy-persona archetypes for education and self-reflection. If you use these features, you acknowledge that:

• The quiz matches you to an archetype as the nearest illustrative fit to your answers; you do not choose a persona by name.
• Quiz scenarios and persona write-ups are illustrative educational frames, not descriptions of real individuals or employers.
• This experience is not legal advice, not career counseling, and not a clinical, psychological, or HR assessment.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE. TRANSANCHOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or service notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
