Trial Operation

Definition

The period during which the Interconnection Customer is engaged in on-site test operations and commissioning of the Generating Facility prior to Commercial Operation. Trial Operation begins on the Initial Synchronization Date and ends when the Generating Facility achieves Commercial Operation. During this period, the facility may inject electricity into the grid at limited capacity for testing while final commissioning and acceptance testing are completed.
