Definition
Any unneeded portion of Interconnection Service established in a Standard Large Generator Interconnection Agreement, such that if utilized, the total amount of Interconnection Service at the Point of Interconnection would remain the same. FERC rules allow Interconnection Customers to make Surplus Interconnection Service available to other generators wishing to use the same interconnection point without requiring a new interconnection study or separate queue position.
