Definition
The refundable deposit submitted with an Interconnection Request pursuant to Section 3.1.1.1 of the LGIP, scaled by project size: $35,000 plus $1,000 per MW for requests under 80 MW; $150,000 for 80–200 MW; and $250,000 for 200 MW or greater. The Transmission Provider applies the Study Deposit toward the cost of the Cluster Study Process. The Commercial Readiness Deposit equals two times the Study Deposit amount.
