Definition
Financial penalties assessed against the Transmission Provider under Section 3.9 of the LGIP for failure to complete interconnection studies by applicable deadlines. Penalty rates are $1,000 per Business Day for late Cluster Studies, $2,000 per Business Day for late Cluster Restudies and Affected System Studies, and $2,500 per Business Day for late Interconnection Facilities Studies; penalties are capped at 100% of the relevant study deposit(s) and are distributed to Interconnection Customers on a pro rata basis.
