Site Control

Definition

The exclusive land right to develop, construct, operate, and maintain a Generating Facility over its operational life. Site Control may be demonstrated by ownership, a leasehold interest, an option to purchase, or other documentation establishing the exclusive right to occupy a site of sufficient size. Demonstrating Site Control is typically required with an Interconnection Request and is a key viability indicator evaluated during interconnection queue management.
