Reasonable Efforts

Definition

The standard of conduct defined in Section 1 of the LGIP for actions required to be attempted or taken by a Party: efforts that are timely, consistent with Good Utility Practice, and otherwise substantially equivalent to those a Party would use to protect its own interests. Reasonable Efforts is a lower standard than 'best efforts' and is the standard applied to coordination obligations and optional study activities throughout the LGIP.
