Queue Position Transferability

Definition

Under Section 4.3 of the LGIP, an Interconnection Customer may transfer its Queue Position to another entity only if that entity acquires the specific Generating Facility identified in the Interconnection Request and the Point of Interconnection does not change. This restriction prevents speculative queue position trading — developers cannot sell a favorable queue position without also transferring the underlying project.
