Generator Interconnection

Network Upgrades

Definition

Additions, modifications, or replacements to the Transmission Provider's existing bulk transmission system (beyond the Attachment Facilities) required to accommodate a new generator's Interconnection Request without causing thermal, voltage, or stability violations. Network Upgrade costs are initially assigned to the Interconnection Customer but are eligible for partial or full refund as subsequent projects use those same upgrades.
