Generator Interconnection

Material Modification

Definition

A modification to an Interconnection Request that has a material impact on the cost or timing of any Interconnection Request with an equal or later Queue Position. Material Modifications — such as significantly increasing MW capacity, changing technology type, or relocating the Point of Interconnection — may result in loss of Queue Position or trigger restudies. This rule prevents developers from holding a favorable queue position while making substantive project changes.
