Joint Operating Committee

Definition

A group made up of representatives from Interconnection Customers and the Transmission Provider, established to coordinate the operating and technical considerations of Interconnection Service. The Joint Operating Committee addresses real-time coordination issues, reviews operating criteria, and provides a forum for resolving technical disputes that arise during ongoing operations after the Generating Facility achieves Commercial Operation.
