Generating Facility Capacity

Definition

The net capacity of the Generating Facility, or the aggregate net capacity where the Generating Facility includes more than one device for the production and/or storage for later injection of electricity. Generating Facility Capacity determines whether a project is subject to the LGIP (more than 20 MW) or the Small Generator Interconnection Procedures (no more than 20 MW), and is the basis for calculating Commercial Readiness Deposits and other size-based fees.
