Effective Date (LGIA)

Definition

The date on which the Standard Large Generator Interconnection Agreement becomes effective, which occurs upon execution by the Parties subject to acceptance by FERC, or if filed unexecuted, upon the date specified by FERC. The Effective Date marks the commencement of the legally binding obligations under the LGIA, including construction timelines, financial security requirements, and milestone obligations.
