Generator Interconnection

Contingent Facilities

Definition

Unbuilt Interconnection Facilities and Network Upgrades upon which an Interconnection Request's costs, timing, and study findings are dependent, and which, if delayed or not built, could require restudies or reassessment of facilities, costs, and timing. When a project relies on Contingent Facilities — typically upgrades being built by higher-queued projects — delays by those projects can cascade into restudies for the dependent project.
