Cluster Study

Definition

The evaluation of one or more Interconnection Requests within a Cluster, as described in Section 7 of the LGIP. Using power flow, short circuit, and stability analysis, the Cluster Study identifies all thermal, voltage, and stability impacts caused by the proposed generators and determines required Network Upgrades and each Interconnection Customer's proportional cost responsibility via the Proportional Impact Method.
