Definition
The base case power flow, short circuit, and stability databases used for Interconnection Studies by the Transmission Provider or Interconnection Customer. The Transmission Provider maintains Base Case data on OASIS or a password-protected website per Section 2.3 of the LGIP; it includes proposed generation and transmission projects with approved expansion plans and underlies all Cluster Studies and Facilities Studies.
