Generator Interconnection

Attachment Facilities

Definition

The transmission equipment owned and constructed by (or on behalf of) the Transmission Provider that connects the Transmission Provider's existing transmission system to the Point of Interconnection. Unlike Network Upgrades, Attachment Facilities serve only the specific generating facility being interconnected and are paid for entirely by the Interconnection Customer with no refund provision. Note: The LGIP does not use 'Attachment Facilities' as a defined term; it uses 'Transmission Provider's Interconnection Facilities' for the utility-side connection to the POI.
