Definition
The entity that operates an Affected System — an electric system other than the Transmission Provider's Transmission System that may be affected by power flows resulting from a proposed interconnection. The Affected System Operator must be engaged in the interconnection study process and its coordination may be required to complete upgrades on the neighboring system to mitigate identified impacts.
