Definition

Under §23.1 of the OATT, the Transmission Customer that sells, assigns, or transfers all or a portion of its rights under its Service Agreement to another Eligible Customer (the Assignee). The Reseller remains liable for all obligations under the original Service Agreement unless the Transmission Provider specifically agrees otherwise through a Service Agreement amendment. The Reseller is credited by the Transmission Provider for the price reflected in the Assignee's Service Agreement.
