Definition

Under §23.1 of the OATT, the Eligible Customer that acquires all or a portion of a Reseller's transmission service rights. The Assignee must execute a service agreement with the Transmission Provider before reassigned service commences. If the Assignee requests no change to Points of Receipt or Delivery, it receives the same service and reservation priority as the Reseller. Changes to service specifications require a new System Impact Study and trigger re-prioritization under §13.2.
