Point of Delivery

Definition

The point(s) on the Transmission Provider's transmission system where capacity and/or energy is delivered to a receiving party under a Point-to-Point Transmission Service agreement. The Point of Delivery is typically the interconnection point where energy exits the high-voltage transmission system to serve a load, connect to a distribution system, or transfer to another transmission system.
