Transmission Services

Partial Interim Service

Definition

Under §19.7, the obligation of the Transmission Provider to offer and provide whatever portion of a requested Firm Point-to-Point Transmission Service can be accommodated without adding new facilities or upgrades, even when the full requested capacity is not immediately available. The Transmission Provider is not obligated to provide the incremental portion requiring construction until those facilities are placed in service, but must offer the available capacity rather than deferring all service pending construction completion.
