Non-Firm Point-to-Point Transmission Service

Definition

Point-to-Point Transmission Service that is available on an as-available basis and subject to curtailment by the Transmission Provider at any time, without liability. Non-firm service is priced lower than firm service to reflect its interruptible nature and is typically used for short-term, opportunistic transactions when firm capacity is unavailable or not required by the transaction.
