Transfer Capability & ATC

Simultaneous Feasibility Test

Definition

A test performed by the Transmission Provider to determine whether all existing firm transmission reservations, when simultaneously dispatched at their full reserved capacity, can be physically accommodated on the transmission system without violating reliability standards. This test protects existing firm customers by ensuring that granting new firm reservations does not compromise previously sold service.
