Definition
The requirements and guidelines of the Electric Reliability Organization (NERC) and the Balancing Authority Area of the Transmission System to which the Generating Facility is directly interconnected. All interconnection studies must demonstrate that the proposed generator can connect without violating Applicable Reliability Standards under both normal operating conditions and defined contingency scenarios (including N-1 and, where applicable, N-1-1 events).
