Voluntary Consent (Transparency)

Definition

A transmission customer may voluntarily consent in writing to allow the transmission provider to disclose its non-public information to marketing function employees. If consent is given, the provider must post notice on its Web site along with a statement that it did not provide any operational or rate-related preferences in exchange for that consent.
