Transmission Owner Waiver

Definition

A public utility transmission owner that participates in a Commission-approved ISO or RTO may request a waiver from Part 358 if it does not operate or control its transmission system and has no access to transmission function information. The waiver reflects that such entities lack the ability to discriminate because the ISO/RTO performs all transmission functions.
