Marketing Function Employee

Definition

An employee, contractor, consultant, or agent of a transmission provider or of an affiliate who actively and personally engages on a day-to-day basis in marketing functions. These employees must be kept separate from transmission function employees and cannot receive non-public transmission function information except as permitted (e.g., contemporaneous public disclosure).
