Definition

Except as permitted in Part 358 or by Commission order, a transmission provider's transmission function employees must function independently of its marketing function employees. § 358.5(b) elaborates: marketing employees cannot conduct transmission functions or have preferential access to system control; transmission employees cannot conduct marketing.
