Standards of Conduct (18 CFR Part 358)

Good Cause Waiver

Definition

A transmission provider may file a request for a waiver from all or some of the requirements of Part 358 for good cause. The Commission evaluates such requests on a case-by-case basis. Waivers are rarely granted and must demonstrate that the circumstances justify a departure from the Standards of Conduct without undermining the protections for non-affiliated customers.
