Designated Agent

Definition

Any entity that is authorized to act on behalf of a Transmission Provider or Transmission Customer in administering transmission service requests, executing service agreements, or managing scheduling and reservations on OASIS. RTOs and ISOs frequently act as the Designated Agent for their member transmission owners when administering the regional OATT.
